International Day of Peace

One of my parents just sent me this info. If I am not too exhausted at the end of the week I will try my best to make it. After all, don't we all want peace for our children?

Sept. 21, International Day of Peace

We have an opportunity to unite with the International Community, to raise our voices for Peace. Jane Goodall, one of the United Nations Ambassador’s for Peace, has the dream of flying homemade Peace Doves around the world so they can be seen circling the globe from space.
We would like to circle the downtown area of Bend with Peace Doves and Peace Signs and Peace Loving People

September is a very crucial month of decision making for congress.
If you’ve never come out to demonstrate before, come out Now!!

Sept. 21, 5:00 Peace Rally Starting at Brandis Square

6:00 P.M. Meet in Drake Park for Food and Fellowship

7:00 P.M. Walk to The Environmental Center to hear
Goudarz Eghtedari, a Middle East expert from Iran
Speaking for Amnesty International
